After procrastinating on twitter and following links to procrastinate on blogs, I came across Sarah Von’s excellent kick up the backside post, Operation Get Shit Done. It’s true of course, and made me feel bad about not blogging in like, forevs. Bad Lana!
I have been very busy though, working, camping, eating, gallavanting.
Something I’ve been very excited about is signing up to Rachel and Elsie’s (from Red Velvet Art, the cutest online craft store you ever did see) Autumn Craft Class! It’s spring here in Australia but no matter, the projects are do-able and fun, and I am making headway towards my goal of giving handmade Christmas presents this year
I’ve never really crafted except for scrapbooking, and so far I’ve tried sewing, embroidering and made a stuffed owl – very proud of myself!
I also managed to book a super cheap ticket to Malaysia, kinda out of the blue, yesterday – I am talking $63 one way! So planning for tropical holidays is making me very happy!
So much coming up too – a weekend in Noosa, Fright Night at Movieworld (complete with scary costumes!), Big Day Out 2010 tickets (if we can get them before they sell out!), weddings, birthdays and a scrapbooking retreat with mum.
